This guide will walk you through the complete setup process—from download to adding your custom audio player to your Shopify store using no coding.

✅ Step 1: Download & Prepare Your Snippet #

After your purchase, you received a ZIP file. Inside it, you’ll find:

• 🔹 Snippet Code (e.g., sound-kit-wave-player.liquid)
• 📄 This instruction guide (PDF or TXT)
• 🎵 Optional audio demo file (MP3 or WAV) for testing

🔓 How to Prepare: #

1. Unzip the file
   • Windows: Right-click > Extract All
   • Mac: Double-click the ZIP file
2. Open the snippet code file in a text editor like Notepad, VS Code, or TextEdit
3. Copy the entire code — you’ll paste this into Shopify in the next step

✅ Step 2: Add the Snippet to Your Shopify Product Page #

You can display this snippet on all products or only on selected ones using templates.

🔹 Option A: Add to All Product Pages #

1. Go to Online Store > Themes > Customize
2. At the top dropdown, select Products > Default product
3. In the left panel, scroll down to Product Information
4. Click “Add Block” → choose Custom Liquid
5. Paste the code you copied in Step 1
6. (Optional) Drag the block to the position you prefer (e.g., below title or description)
7. Click Save

✅ Done! Your player will now show on all products.

🔹 Option B: Create a Custom Template (for Specific Products Only) #

1. In the same Customize view, click the three dots (⋮) next to the current template name
2. Click “Create template”
3. Name it something like beatifyy-player → Based on: Default product → Click Create
4. Add a Custom Liquid block and paste your code as before
5. Click Save

Then:

• Go to Products > [Your Product]
• On the right side, under Theme Template, choose product.beatifyy-player
• Save the product

Now only selected products will use the custom player.

✅ Step 3: Create a Metafield to Link Audio Files #

To dynamically connect your audio file to each product:

🧩 Create the Metafield #

1. Go to Shopify Admin > Settings > Custom Data > Products
2. Click “Add definition”
3. Name it: Demo Audio File
4. Namespace & Key: audio.demo
5. Type: File
6. Save the definition

🎵 Upload the Audio File for Each Product #

1. Go to Products
2. Click on any product you want to update
3. Scroll down to the Metafields section
4. Upload your audio file in the Demo Audio File field

Once saved, your snippet will pull the audio from this metafield automatically.

Your Beatifyy snippet is now live and playing your demo audio per product.
