Upload your tracks, add licenses, and activate the waveform player.

✅ What You Need Before You Start: #
Make sure you’ve already:
- Installed the Beatifyy Pro template
- Created Product Metafields (MP3, BPM, Genre, Key, Tags)
- Set up Collections (e.g., Trap Beats, Amapiano Beats, etc.)
- Decided on your license structure (like Unlimited, Exclusive)
📥 Step-by-Step: Uploading a Beat #
🔹 Step 1: Go to Products #
- Log into your Shopify Admin
- Click Products
- Click Add Product
🔹 Step 2: Enter Basic Info #

| Title | Beat Name (e.g., “Drip Season”) |
| Description | Optional vibe description (e.g. “Dark, trap style for female rapper”) |
| Media | Upload your beat cover image (1:1 ratio) |
| Product Status | Set to Active so it’s visible in your store |
🔹 Step 3: Add Beat Licenses Using Variants #
Beat licenses should be consistent across all products (same names, order, and pricing model).
Here’s how to add them as variants:
- Scroll to Variants
- Click This product has options
- Set Option Name to:
License - Under values, enter your licenses, for example:
- Unlimited License
- Exclusive License
- Premium Lease (optional)
- Shopify will generate one variant per license type
- Set Price and Compare at Price if needed for discounts
- For Digital Delivery, each variant can have its own ZIP file using a digital delivery app like “Digital Downloads” or “SendOwl”

🔹 Step 4: Add to a Collection #
- Under the Organization panel → Add to a collection like “Trap Beats”
- This will allow the beat to show on your Featured Tracks section or Main Beat Page
🔹 Step 5: Fill in the Metafields #
At the bottom of the product page, you’ll see the metafield inputs:

🔹 Step 6: Save & Test It #
- Click Save
- Visit your storefront
- Navigate to the section or collection that includes this beat
- Confirm the following:
✅ Beat appears with artwork
✅ Play icon and waveform work
✅ BPM, Genre, Key, Tags are visible
✅ License dropdown works (from variants)
✅ Prices update per license

- Protect Your Files: Use ZIP files with tags in the preview and untagged files for delivery
- Boost SEO: Use terms like “Trap Beat with Hook” or “Amapiano Type Beat” in titles or tags
- Offer Discounts: Use Shopify’s price compare field to show sales (e.g. $99 → $49)
